I have spent the past 5 months and uncountable hours, days, months researching every possible option for any type of any assistance to or for anyone and how many times and ways you can be told NO. Included I report dates, times, qualifications, locations and resources. I have an arsenal of info and would be happy to shhare if you are still collecting same. Trust me, the government grant sites, if not truly the government, are all bullshit. The actual gov sites are risky and dangerous if you don't know what your doing. Respond if you like and I will provide some first hand information regarding mostly why you CAN'T get that FREE MONEY. However, in the right hands would surely save many many souls a copious amount of potentially wasted hope, time and money. I posted here too and to no avail, not even what I considered a mi-noot interest in my money troubles due to Identiy theft, not even a nasty note. I at least got attention and reaction on my post from PopTart on the BOA link along with a testimonial from an employee confirming every accusation I lodged along with additional poo on BOA for our perusal. MY STORY PLEASE READ MAY HELP YOU I need Financial Assistance Right Now, Any help.. Loan, Grant, Gift, Suggestions, Best Wishes, a little Love, Looking for you NOW BOFA has ruined my life, the life of my 60 year old terminally ill cancer patient, as well as affected family members, friends (not many left), and any credit relationships we had. We are desperately trying to find a place to live, however, the financial demise inflicted on us by BOA has made daily survival impossible much less having the ability, funds or credit score to buy a trailer down the street. Out landlord has been wonderful, beyond belief and has stuck with us for the past 6 months with no rent. It is now time to get out and let them collect rent for their financial health and we need, want, must comply. However, we have been notified by the VA that we can not due to our credit score and by that, we will not qualify for anything, not eve a rental or utilities. I am beyond embarrassed to ask anymore. I have contacted EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE organization, charity, fund, company, philanthropist, organization, Federal, State, Local, PLEASE WHEN I say I was thorough A BIT MORE about our story. FIRST BAD LUCK June 30, 2006, our new vehicle was vandalized and should have been totaled. We had no transportation for 3 months while it was glued carelessly back together. The last week of repairs we were offered a junk mobile to stop me from whining. It was defective and almost got us killed when the accelerator stuck at VA Clinic. We stopped just short of entering a 4 lane highway. sideways. I will try to keep this brief, just impossible to tell all. We ended up having to pay another $1,000 deductible as the repair shop denied anything wrong with the vehicle and would not give us our vehicle until I reported to my insurance for payments as well as give them $2,000 CASH deductibles, in October. During the 3 months I had to beg and borrow transportation for everything including dialysis for Rick 3x a week, rides to school for my daughter daily and I tried to walk to grocery once but passed out along side the road and no one even stopped. I am disabled; walk with a cane, on small SSD pmts and battle to keep Bi-Polar disease under control. I have been caring for Rick for 7 years now. 2 years ago, after a lengthy battle, he lost his last kidney to cancer and has suffered horrendous medical and financial issues every since. He used to work hard and contribute to society as did I. My past included College, Paralegal, Business Management, Comptroller and self employment. I was a BIG SISTER, volunteer with elementary schools, Meals on Wheels, Adopt a Family, Care for the Elder (Adopt a Grandma), Daily Call Friend, etc. 13 car accidents and 7 back surgeries left me 100% disabled. My mental issues are a direct result of Mental, physical, sexual and psychological abuse at the grossest level from birth to? (18 I left). SECOND BAD LUCK On November 6, 2007 one of our BOA accounts became overdrawn due to Check Fraud. It appeared on my online account display on November 9, 2007, and which date I printed out all available info, attempted to contact the perpetrator (who denied all and hung up on me 5x), tried to file a report with local police (did not have a form for this type report) and went to BOA in person. I was without words to explain their behavior. To keep it brief, they told me that they would have to call a phone number which would mean waiting forever to report, if I really wanted to report this, I should just go home and call the company and tell them “just stop and don’t do it again, or else”. I was told they just had another lady in with the same story and that’s WHAT SHE DID. I was insistent on reporting it, to no avail and no phone number offered to me. The CS rep decided to look at my account on the Monitor and decided I would have been overdrawn the next day anyway, even without the bogus check. I refused to leave without more help and it was closing time, so he suggested putting a HOLD on BOTH accounts for now and I should come back Monday. I insisted we look at what checks would bounce over the weekend, we did, I took cash out of the accounts before freeze to have some, He put a HOLD on both accounts and I went to see the people who would be affected when the checks would not clear and told them why. ON MONDAY accounts were seriously overdrawn, I went to BOA and the CS rep said it was too complicated for him and I needed to see the Manager, who was out for a few days. He said he would put all info on his desk as he had to leave for vacation now. And was not going to be back for awhile……………..By the time the Manger came back and would see me, the accounts were out of control with NSF charges and fees, including allowing the said checks to be submitted over and over and over…the Manager did not even let me talk (he seemed to know ???) Did not even look up my accounts on the computer and informed me that it was NOT the banks fault and I would never see a refund of any kind. When I tried to talk he threw away the info I needed and threw me out…crying. Over the next 5 months BOA did everything possible even illegal, including discrimination, lying, steeling, fraud, unbelievable displays of arrogance, supremacy, unprofessional and inhuman behavior. Consequently, I have filed a 32 page Complaint with the Office Of The Comptroller of Currency, The States Attorneys Office, The Banking Ombudsman, and The Federal Deposit Admin, who all are adamantly pursuing justice on my behalf. Bank of America is currently denying and sticking their nose up at us, but I remain hopeful that we will not only be fairly compensated with remuneration, but, additionally as part of my settlement conditions, I require BOA to endow and fund a Charity I created for Helping People Like Us. People who do not qualify for any assistance, from anyone, anyplace, anyhow, for any reason, because we made too much money!!!!!!!!! Didn’t matter that we were loosing everything because BOA was taking all our money and I could not stop them, they would not close our accounts and just kept on taking our money, even after I rerouted the Direct Deposits, they still snagged our SSD checks and VA check and would not return it, stating to the Federal Deposit admin that he gave them permission, the cancer patient with Alzheimer’s did this ?????? This, believe it or not is the short version. There are documented dates, times and proof of all alleged activity by BOA. Additionally, I submit for your perusal, a response to my post, from a Bank Of America employee after reading my story on the website mentioned above. Please read her feelings… “I believe most if not everything you said. I have heard it from more than a few people. There are reps that probably wanted to help you, but could not due to management not letting us make decisions that we see fit. It sucks especially when someone wants to help. People late on loans sometimes cant even get help. They do sometimes, but I have seen lots of cusotmers who could not get help. One associate of mine told meof situation with a customer. The customer said it best when he said "you are kicking me when i am down. To paraphrase he basically said that he was late on his account, was three payments behind and was tying. He was making the minimum payment but His late and over the credit line fees were not able to be stopped. And he was being charged 24.99 intrest. That is not the way to help someone having a problem. Its one thing to hit him if he was making no effort but he was paying the payment every month. I would have advised writing the occ and attorney general but you have done that. They have introducted discussions of legislation to regulate the fees and treatment of cusotmers. They should not belittle people due to their disablity as that is not compasionate. The sad thing is they pray on people that cant pay their bills. In credit people are told to approve students with no income. Why? I was told directly that "we know their parents will bail them out" that sounds like irresponsible lending to me. Best of luck. I hope it works out for you. None apply to BOFA, however, keep in mind they give CC to illegal immigrants and can because...they can... what rules? Oh, Ya they make the rules up as they go along and deposit them on to the screens in front of their mindless robotic CS Rep's so they know what to say concerning any topic a customer may present. Every monotone word is read. Determined by their Godscreen. I was informed/advised of this when I tried to explain my problem for the 1000th time, in hopes of some humanlike interaction, but nonperson response is all that is available at BOFA. The only exception, should you inadvertently piss one of them off, they tend to get very defensive and horribly loud and rude. I have to wonder about the omnipotent GodScreen and its power to think for the employees. I plan to post this here and MANY other places for all to learn and maybe find some retribution themselves. I refuse to take this from anyone, regardless of their size and wealth. I will bring them down with my dying breath. Look for a post by PopTart, under BOFA Ruined My Credit or similar.
